2011 UConn BFA Exhibition
How does one create an identity that both individualizes yet brings together a group of people?
This exhibition showcased students from six different concentrations (photography, design, illustration,
painting, sculpture & printmaking). The design team used six shapes in bright, energetic colors to
represent each concentration while creating an overall system of patterns to tie the entire identity together.
The shapes were then transformed into geometric letterforms to create a dynamic logotype.

The perforated posters were designed to be torn up into eight postcards when hung, and thus serving two purposes. Once a postcard was torn, the poster still retained it's informational value, but transformed into beautiful and intriguing shapes, similar to the patterns we created.
